 Frontier Corps




Introduction:

The Frontier Corps (FC) is a paramilitary force of Pakistan that is appointed in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK). FC is performing their duty along the country's borders with Afghanistan and Iran.

Separate Organizations of FC:

The Frontier Corps has two separate organizations, FC (KPK) stationed in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province and FC Balochistan stationed in Balochistan province.

 The role of Frontier Corps is to perform Border Security and stop smuggling through the border and protect important routes, important sites, assets and undertake terrorism operations on orders.


The FC force of KPK is divided into fifteen local units:

  • Kurram Militia
  • South Waziristan Scouts
  • Mohmand Rifles
  • Bara Rifles
  • Tirah Rifles
  • Orakzai Rifles

  • Khatak Scouts
  • Shawal Rifles
  • Bhittani Rifles
  • Thal Scouts

The FC force of Balochistan is divided into nineteen local units:
